About the CFD Simulation of SpaceX Dragon Project
Simulation of the supersonic flow around SpaceX Dragon during atmospheric re-entry using ANSYS CFX. Dragon is a reusable spacecraft developed by SpaceX. Originally designed to deliver both cargo and crew to orbiting destinations but so far has only been used to deliver cargo to the International Space Station (ISS). Mesh used for this simulation consists of 1.6 Million cells. For turbulence RNG model is used. CFX simulation file is also attached for download.
